I am researching the loss of U553 in the North Atlantic on or about 01/20/1943. Some of the reports say the Adrias L67 sunk her. I'm looking for any copies of KTB reports and passage reports. It was supposed to be a front boat in the Landsknecht wolfpack. The last transmission from the boat at BE6113 raises many questions as to her fate. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This information will eventually lead to a dive if we can narrow down the grid size and use side-scan sonar.
