There is confirmation of this in the U-489 KTB entry for 28 July 1943:

In a message to BDU - titled "BDU: Flyers rescued":

Von abgestürzter "BV" in AF 7369* drei Flieger gerettet. Frag: wo absetzen. -BDU: Flieger mitnehmen.

Of crashed "BV" in 7369 AF saved three airmen. Question: where to land (them).
