I the loss was of a Bv 138 of 2./706 and the rescued personnel were Lt.z.S Hans Knittell (Beobachter), Uffz Heinz Hengst (Bordfunker) and Uffz Werner Mohlau (Bordschutz). Fw Laus Kopatzki (Flugzeugführer) and Ofw Werner Hennrich (Bordmechanik) were killed in the crash landing.
