Derek, Thanks for the reply, yes I think that I am going to look into the history of the Regenbogen order before sorting out the boats. I notice you concentrate on the surrendered boats. I have compiled lists of U-boat crew fates, losses and survivors numbers when the boats were lost or war ended, however I have not been able to find the crew numbers of the majority surrendered and scuttled boats. I presume all crews were recorded at the surrender, just where they will be recorded/ saved? Regards John
