Hello Platon,
thanks and, since we're at it: what about the loss of the "Marconi"? I have found that also for this the causes are not known, the only speculation being that she may have been victim of "friendly fire" incident from the U-67 on 28.10.1941, but on another site I found that actually the U-67 was not even at sea at that time (and indeed on Uboat.net I found that her second patrol ended on 16 October and her third patrol began on 26 November).
Are there any suggestions about which submarine could be the one seen in the photos?
