<HTML>Hi, from barcelona, Spain
In december,12, 1936, the German submarine U-34 (Ursula Operation) torpedoed and sunk the Spanish Republican submarine C-3 (Lt Antonio Arbona,Holland class) off the coast of Malaga. In fact the \"eel \"didn\'t made explosion, but it hit on the batteries, so the craft blown.Only 3 men were pick up alive.
Do you know where I could get the log of the U-34 or further information?
Thanks
Note: The Spanish Navy (Armada Española) purchased the U-573 in 1942, and was renamed as S-01, being in service until 1971, when was scraped.
