Hi Derek, in John D. Drummond's book H.M U-boat 1977 ISBN 0 427 00303 2, on pages 176-181 he describes her finally voyage. Having been stripped of all valuable gear she was towed out by HM tug Empire john, but next morning a gale closed in and the tow broke, the corvette HMS Bullen was close at dawn by and came to assist,[spread oil around the Graph], while a second tug HM Allegiance arrived, despite several attempts neither tug could get a tow on and the Empire john was damaged and had to make for the clyde. A ocean going tug HM Growler was called up, but before she arrived on the 20th of March Graph had run aground on the 'isle of Islay where she was pounded.John
