Jim,
Only the Milch-kuh U 459 KK v Wilamowitz-Möllendorf was sunk at sea on the date given. The only crew names I can find are \"..Gefangene/ Dose Herbert EMt, Lück Paul, v. Kirschbaum Wolfgang WO, Schilling Karl OM\".
Source: U-BOOTS-LISTE * 1956 by Herbert Zeissler.
Its a private publication by a former U-boat Commander but might give you something to go on....... unless the date you give was perhaps the date they left the ship they were rescued by and were, perhaps sunk some days or a week or two earlier.
