Hello,
Following the (Belgian) book of R. Machielsen (Ed.1991), the ss Adolphe Urban (537 Bt), was build 1913, in Aberdeen.
On the 07.03.1941, her shipping C° was Hermans, and was en route from Swansea to Drogheda (Ireland) ; master : M. Vyncke – 12 crew (4 Belgian). She disappeared in the St George’s Channel, probably sunk by planes attack. 12 casualties.
Best regards.
