Hi, There is no easy answer to your question, one problem with getting sinking data for the areas you mention is that during their patrols U-boats could sink shipping in different sea areas, as examples being mid Atlantic then off the American seaboard or central Atlantic then off South America.
The one sure way to obtain specific area data is to identify the total of U-boats which operated in the areas of your interest by discounting the U-boats that were only deployed in training plus non combat boats.
Helpful to use these sites, U-boat archive, which lists daily U-boat numbers at sea in specific sea areas, while this site is perfect for showing each boats individual patrol successes and in which area they were achieved. The task is not as daunting as first seems, but is no quick way either, but remember there are many boats which sank no shipping or only survived one war patrol, all these numbers being readily available. I would suggest going year by year. john
