Thank you, Platon and Urs, for your replies.
Concerning the Brin action,it seems to me that the CAB file N. 198 could support the Brin and Wishart reports (unless the data in weekly Résumé N. 198 are based on the Wishart report only...), even if there is a major drawback, relevant to the lack of identification of the ship torpedoed.
