<HTML> Hello everyone, Was the movie "Das Boot" originally recorded in german or in english? It looks to me watching the movie, that the screenplay characters were speaking in german when the original movie was shot, but I could be wrong (just judging from the way they speak on screen). Also the DVD puts the german language first on the language selection menu but there aren't any german subtitles available in the subtitles menu, why? In closing, I find it is best watched having the actors speaking german but the english subtitles on screen so that you can understand what is going on, as it gives even a more realistic feeling to the movie. What do you think??? Post your thoughts here. Rgds. Don</HTML>
