Das Boot-Official photos aboard U -96

Good afternoon,
The sad story of OLzS Oskar-Heinz Kusch is still with us
to remind that an official photo of AH was present aboard
every u-boot.So, two questions :
1)In addition of AH picture, was also a picture of
BdU/FdU,Admiral Dönitz, mandatory ?
2)If not, is it due to some political correctness that
the only picture that can be seen in "Das Boot" is KD's
and not AH's ?
I do point out that I consider KD as a real soldier and sa
ilor, and AH as a very efficient mass murderer,i.e war criminal
