<HTML>I have talked with various video stores in my area about U-571. I told them I was a U-boat fan and was curious about how well the movie was doing.

All the stores that I have went to said that U-571 was doing very well and that it was helping to cover the losses on other films that were released at the same time.

So it may have made U-boat fanatics foam at the mouth, but audiences(at least in my area) are glad to view U-571.
