Yes, I remembered the post but was not sure if anyone had responded with their thoughts after the crash of the forum so I thought I would re-post it.
I didn\'t like U-571 as it falsely portrayed such an incident. But I was certainly entertained by it. Movies are for entertainment, but it is definitely wrong to take the credit for obtaining an enigma and butchering the honor of the u-boat men.
I\'m really glad the true story behind the Enigma is coming out and I hope they stick to a little bit of historical accuracy.
