<HTML>Dear Hamilcar,
I am sorry but it is not “Alte Kameraden†(=Old comrades) which, curiously enough, was the back sound track of another famous war movie: Aces High. (WW1 air duels).
I tried do translate back into German the refrain verses and checked the words with the search engine at V & K but with no results. So the question is still open.
I will gratefully acknowledge the correct answer.
Walter M.
P.S.
Anybody can buy as much beer as he wishes at the Oktoberfest, but nobody ever was able to walk away with it. :-)
Very malignant people think that, considering the extraordinary abilities of the German chemical industry, the Oktoberfest works in a closed circle. :-)
