<HTML>In the final analysis, I think the victories of the War (IInd) would be that 1940's victories can be attributed to the British/Germans, 41-42 to Germany/Japan, 42 end to the Brits and from Tunisia/Stalingrad onwards to the Americans and Russians. Frankly the British did not pull off any major victories after the Tunsian campaign and it was more or less anAmerican show (Yikes!). From the liberation of Rome to that of Paris, it was America all the way with fantastic supporting troops of Canada and Britain. Eh, what?
