<HTML>Silent hunter 2 is not too bad of a game.

Silent Hunter II has some failings, lack of some detailed information for hands-on operations (or, as the case may be, too much information offered by the crew), a paucity of missions, lack of a real editor, lack of multiplayer (promised as an add-on when the companion sim Destroyer Command comes out early next year), an odd full fuel state for mid-ocean missions, quirky enemy AI (targets running aground?)&#8230; nit-pickers could easily create a picture of crippling failure, but for the rest of us, whose idea of perfection is a few hours of down time when the only important thing is getting your boat out and back successfully, Silent Hunter II is the perfect tonic.
