<HTML>i see where i may have confused you! if you read the thread again you will notice that there is talk about the mechanic from black sheep squadron. he is RED WEST, elvis's main man! the two of 'em did alot of hell raising togther. i realize now that i jumped from one thought to the other in my post. sorry! now back to DANGER UXB, can you imagine disarming german bombs and rockets! with the threat of another sortie coming while involved in your trade. what a detail! well, in the eyes and mind of a nine year old at the time i found that show to be very thrilling. i admire the people of Britian for their incredible stance during the Blitz. those photos of old ladies sweeping up rubble as if they were just dusting about. there is also a famous photo of a small boy who had saved his little sister from their burning home. the kid is standing on front of his home with a jumper on and he has his arms crossed standing very proud as if was a goal keeper in a victorious football match. great stuff, great people and "great" times! thanks for the info. and i am sure this is most coverage elvis has received this forum!
