<HTML>Hello Charla:

Tomorrow I'll be watchng "K-19: THE WIDOWMAKWER"..........

We've got to get one thing straight. There never was a Soviet U-484.

K-81 a "JULIETT-class" missile boat, was built in St. Petersburg, RU and
commissioned on 12/14/65. She was a Project 651-class guided missile boat.

She was decommissiond in 1994, sold to "Subexpo", Finland in 1994, leased to "Russian Submarine" BC in 1997, used as a tourist attraction in St. Petersburg, FL USA (with fake hull number U-584), up for sale on eBay for $1 million.

Along came INTERMEDIA and NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC to produce "K-19: THE
WIDOWMAKER"......they needed a nuclear-powered Soviet/Russian missile boat,
but they've all been scrapped. K-81 is just what we need. After a little bit of
Hollywood make-up, VOILA! It's now the K-19. Who's gonna care, it'll be exciting,
scary and have Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson as the stars. Who would want more? (Incidentally, PARAMOUNT handled the publicity and distribution)

Hope you get a chance to see it soon.

Later,
