<HTML>Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

on the weekend it was "high" time again to watch again DAS BOOT, long version. Having seen this movie very often what obviously slipt my mind, was the duty of the cook (of course not the one in Red October).

- feeding fifty hungry young men a more or less decent meal, crammed in that boat at least three times a day
- having coffe ready for all of them at any time
- making sure, that the more rotten the storaged food on the boat got, no one was "poisend" by it
- having to handle the situation, to be the man, who the crew could have been most easily been "pissied of with" the longer the mission went the more duller and untasty the meals became
- doing the dishes more or less premantly over twenty four hours
- doing all of this in a very tiny kitchen
- for six weeks and much longer

Really amazing, stunning etc. Men can cook after all, couldn't they.
Bon appetite, remember the scrambled eggs "spized" by PILGRIM

Have a nice day
Sincerely Yours
Volker Erich Kummrow</HTML>
