<HTML>Agreed...the Director's Cut is the better of the two.
The Director's Cut gives you:
1. 1 hour extra footage
2. Interviews with Director and Actors
3. Better sound
4. Deeper character development
5. Better understanding of life on a war patrol
6. Different scenes...eg. Commander on the "Wintergarden" early in the Director's Cut shows a clean-shaven uniformed commander as opposed to a "weather-beaten" commander in the original...equally good...
Director's Cut for sure!
