U-96 Insignia question

<HTML>In the movie, U-96 has the swordfish on the conning tower. In the book U-Boat War, the photos by Buchheim have the snorting bull...but no swordfish.
If the movie is supposed to be of Buchheim's time on the U-96, then why don't they have the snorting bull on the conning tower?
