Here are a couple of suggestions for relatively recent documentaries:

1. "U-Boat War"
3-volume set includes "Sea Wolves," "Attack America," and "Iron Coffins."
Each volume is 52 minutes long.
Publication date: 1997.

2. "Decisive Weapons: U-Boat Killers"
BBC TV series.
50 minutes long.
Publication date: 1997.

3. "Wolf Pack: U-Boats in the Atlantic 1939-1944"
Part of the large Thames "World at War" series.
55 minutes long.
Publication date: 1974. (re-released on DVD and video)

4. "U-Boat War"
Video Treasures Inc.
55 minutes long.
Publication date: 1990.

The first one is detailed and probably readily available. There are other good
documentaries but they deal with specific topics such as the location of a U-Boat off of New Jersey (Hitler's Lost Sub) and the story of the U-Boat destined for Japan at the end of the war (Hitler's Last U-Boat).
