<HTML>I don't recall "Navy Log", but I remember a series titled "The Silent Service" in the late 1950s. It was B&W, 30 minute episodes, "hosted" by a retired Admiral (or Captain?) and consisted of "recreations" of US WW2 Pacific Missions/Events. Watching this show is probably what got me "into" sub history and technology.
Then, there's also "Victory At Sea"
Wonder if any of these are available on DVD???</HTML>
