<HTML>The host was RAdm Thomas Dykers, who also executive produced the show, and was "featured" in one of the shows, though an actor played him in the dramatized portion. It ran from 1957-59. "Navy Log" was another anthology series and ran on CBS from 1955-58. There were a lot of military-based series during the '50s, some of them, like "Silent Service," based on actual events and others with no more relationship to reality than JAG and NCIS.
