How long was the Original Das Boot

Hi

Coming across several different Versions of Das Boot.

I had the Mini Series on VHS which was 6 Episodes of roughly 50 Minutes each.
So i make that roughly 300 Minutes.
But then i bought the Mini Series DVD today which says 282 Minutes.
But these 2 are close enough and i said roughly so these are the same i am sure.

On some Ds Boot websites it says the original Mini Series shown in Germany was 6 1 Hour Episodes which i think is an error'but that would be 360 Minutes.

So how long was the original Das Boot Mini Series
