When I rode a boomer the entire crew, including officers, were issued 3 pairs of Navy blue "jump suits." They were fastened with Velcro, (no metal fasteners) These 3 suits were the work uniform
on deterrent patrols. There was no shortage of laundry services.
No other uniforms or civilian clothing was carried aboard.
