Indeed.
Even more: while very accurate, the movie quite on purpose leaves out a few events that - while historically confirmed - would give H an even more human touch, to the point of no-one who wasn't there even be willing to believe it. For instance, at one point H goes off into a terribly angry tirade about how everybody has let him down. This is included in the film, but what in reality followed next has been left out: when he was done yelling at people, H actually broke down and cried.
