Notes on loss

On 1 and 2 Feb, 1944, U-453 rammed and sank four sailing vessels (Agia Paraskevi, Salem, Himli and Yahiya) in the Eastern Mediterranean.

At 03.40 hours on 2 February, the Yahiya was rammed and sunk by U-453 6 miles west of Cape Basit.
