At 16.20 hours on 19 November 1944 the escorted Soviet barge 112600 (No 4532) (approx. 1000 tons) was struck by a Gnat from U-481 and later sank after being shelled by the U-boat with the 37mm anti-aircraft gun northwest of Pakri in the Gulf of Finland.
