History Laid down on 29 February 1944, commissioned on 20 October 1944 and participated in the Moonsund Landing Operation as part of the Baltic Fleet. 
Notes on event

At 12.00 and 12.25 hours on 28 November 1944, U-481 fired two Gnats at several small Soviet warships about 3 miles north of Pakri lighthouse in the Gulf of Finland and reported a hit on a minelayer. The convoy consisted of two minesweepers in tow of two others, escorted by six PT boats. T-387 (No 331) was hit and sunk while in tow.
