Sunk on 17 March, 1944 in the Baltic sea east of Rügen, in position 54.21N, 13.58E, after a collision with U-286. 25 dead and 26 survivors.

Unlike many other U-boats, which during their service lost men due to accidents and various other causes, U-1013 did not suffer any casualties (we know of) until the time of her loss.
