After five years of restoration work by the national organization of PT veterans, PT Boats, Inc., the vessels was placed on display at Battleship Cove, Fall River, Massachusetts, alongside USS Massachusetts (BB 59). PT 617 holds the official title as a National Historic Landmark. (1)
