Off Dundee HMS ML 229 (T/Lt. W.C.R. Walsh, RNVR) took over the escort. HMS Unrivalled (Lt. H.B. Turner, DSC, RN), HMS Trident (Lt. P.E. Newstead, RN) and ML 229 then continued on to Blyth.
