HMS ML 250 (Lt.Cdr. J.D.S. Header, RN) picks up 30 survivors from the British merchant Glendinning that was torpedoed and sunk by German U-boat U-763 about 20 nautical miles south-east of Selsey Bill in position 50°32'N, 0°22'W.
