Around 1745A/2, the damaged light cruiser HMS Phoebe (Capt. C.P. Frend, RN) departed Pointe Noire for Takoradi. She was escorted by the corvettes Commandant d'Estienne d'Orves, FFS Commandant Drogou and the motor launches HMML 244 and HMML 272. (1)

6 Dec 1942
Around 1130A/6, HMS Phoebe (Capt. C.P. Frend, RN), Commandant d'Estienne d'Orves, FFS Commandant Drogou, HMML 244 and HMML 272 arrived at Takoradi from Pointe Noire. (1)

24 Mar 1943
HMS P 615 (Lt. C.W.St.C. Lambert, DSC and Bar, RN) conducted A/S exercises off Freetown with HMS Copinsay (Skr. J.A. MacTean, RNR), ML 272 (T/Lt. J.A. Buchanan, RCNVR) and ML 277 (?). (2)
