HrMs O 9 (Lt. H.A.W. Goossens, RNN) and HMS H 32 (Lt. J.L. Livesey, RN) proceeded from Tobermory to Oban escorted by HMS Martinetta (T/S.Lt. J.A. Brightman, RNVR) and after embarking fuel and fresh water they returned to Tobermory together with HMS Alecto (Cdr. R.M.G. Gambier, RN). (1)
