History	Decommissioned 20 June 1946. Transferred to Brazil 9 January 1951 being renamed Tamandare. Stricken by the U.S.N. on 22 January 1951. Tamandare was discarded by the Brzilian Navy on 28 June 1976. Sunk off Capetown, South Africa on 4 August 1980 under tow to Kaosiung for scrapping.
