History | This ship was fitted with Brown/Denny stabilizers to provide a better gunnery platform. Twin Oerlikon guns were removed and replaced with two 40mm Bofors Army type guns with pipe protection to the superstructure. Also a number of depth charge racks were removed. She was fitted with type 271 aircraft search radar, type 293 surface radar and type 285 gunnery radar. The armament was adjusted for Kamikaze type raids. Scrapped 26 April 1960. |
