D-5 fires a torpedo at the Italian tanker Tampico (4958 GRT) north-east of Varna, Bulgaria. The torpedo however misses it's target.
8 Dec 1942
D-5 sank the Turkish sailing vessel Ko?iboglu (176 GRT) with gunfire north of the Bosporus in position 41°27'N, 28°37'E.
