Accidentaly sunk on 22 September 1943 off Och'amch'ire, Georgia.
Raised three days later.

M-51 encounters German U-boat U-23 in the eastern Black Sea in position 42°27'N, 39°29'E.

16 Aug 1943
M-51 attacks a ship that identified as a merchant off the southern coast of the Crimea in position 44°45'N, 34°53'E. The attack was abandoned due to the fact that the escorts dropped depth charges.
