At 1628 hours, while on patrol of the entrance to the Porsangenfjord near Honningsvag, Norway, ShCh-402 fires two torpedoes against the German merchant Hanau (5892 GRT, built 1921). Both torpedoes however missed their target.

At 0535 hours ShCh-402 fires a torpedo against ' what is identified as ' a tug at the entrance of the Laksefjord in position 71°00'N, 26°50'E. The torpedo missed it's target.

31 Aug 1941
While on patrol near the entrance of the Kjollefjord, at 1528 hours ShCh-402 fires two torpedoes against ' what is identified as ' a tanker of 3000 GRT. There was a detonation after two minutes but the ship attacked was not hit.

2 Sep 1941
At 0157 hours ShCh-402 was attacked by a German a/s vessel with 13 depth charges but managed to escape undamaged. (1)

17 Oct 1941
ShCh-402 torpedoed and sank the Norwegian merchant Vesteraalen (682 GRT) in the Soroysundet in position 70°21'N, 22°32'E.

27 Feb 1942
At 1210 hours, while on patrol of the Laksefjord, ShCh-402 attacked a German convoy in position 71°06'N, 26°57'E and torpedoed and sank the German auxiliary patrol vessel NM 01/Vandale (392 GRT) during this attack.

Three hours later ShCh-402 makes another attack on a convoy and fires two torpedoes against ' what is identified as ' a merchant of 6000 GRT. Both torpedoes missed their target.

3 Mar 1942
At 1735 hours, while on patrol in the entrance to the Laksefjord in position 70°56'N, 26°55'E, ShCh-402 fires a torpedo against ' what is identified as ' an auxiliary minesweeper. The torpedo missed its target and ShCh-402 is depth charged and damaged by the German auxiliary submarine chasers UJ 1102 and UJ 1105.

2 Jun 1942
At 0958 hours ShCh-402 attacked a convoy north-north-west of Vardo, Norway in position 70°37'N, 30°49'E. Two torpedoes were fired, the German merchant Leuna (6856 GRT) was missed in this attack.

22 Jul 1942
At 2248 hours ShCh-402 attacked a convoy and fires four torpedoes against the German merchant Pompeji (2816 GRT) south-south-east of Vard?, Norway in position 70°14'N, 31°18'E. All four torpedoes fired missed their target.

25 Jul 1942
At 0725 hours ShCh-402 fires three torpedoes against ' what is identified as ' a German U-boat south-east of Vard?, Norway in position 70°11'N, 31°40'E. All three torpedoes missed their target.

14 Aug 1942
While on patrol of the Tanafjord, ShCh-402 suffers an internal explosion. The commanding officer and 17 other members of the crew were killed. Despite the damage the remaining crew managed to return to base.

23 Jan 1943
At 0843 hours, while on patrol of the Varangerfjord, ShCh-402 attacked a German convoy and fires 4 torpedoes against ' what is identified as ' a merchant of 6000 GRT. All four torpedoes fired failed to hit their intended target.

2 Feb 1943
At 1254 hours, while on patrol of the Varangerfjord near Kiberg, Norway, ShCh-402 attacked a German convoy and fires 4 torpedoes against ' what is identified as ' a merchant of 8000 GRT. The German merchant Harm Fritzen (4818 GRT) reports that she was missed by torpedoes.

20 Mar 1943
While on patrol near the Syltefjord, at 1429 hours, ShCh-402 fires three torpedoes against ' what is identified as ' a merchant of 6000 GRT in a German convoy. All torpedoes fired missed their intended target.
