HMS Cachalot (Cdr. J.D. Luce, DSO, RN) made rendez-vous with HMS Thirlmere (T/S.Lt. R.C.R. Mortimore, RNVR) off the Shetland Islands. They then proceeded towards Holy Loch. (2)
