History | Saint Class tug sold commercially after the First World War. Requisitioned by the Royal Navy during the Second World War. Its offical number is 143909 Registered by the Admiralty in London. However she never appears on the Navy List and never went into service while in Admiralty ownership. Supplement 1925-25 she was transferrrrred to French ownership at that time and her full entry in Lloyds Register of Shipping in the 1926-27 edition reads ABEILLE No 22( -ex St. MINVER) During the war this vessel was requisitioned by the German Navy. |
