Air pump

Hi, every happy Submariners

Being a romantic maniac, I cannot imagine a Sub without compressed air...

Does any body know about an air pump ( and where I could find it) I could use in a 1/48 scale VIIc, (yes, it's a DK model) to fill a ballast by pumping the air out of it to an intermediate tank or in another part of the WTC, and then blowing the water out by letting the compressed air go back trought a valve, filling again the ballast ?
If you have an idea about very good valve, totaly airproof, that's would be very helpfull also

-Any body having another idea and experience with a different system, but also with an air compressor ? (not the usual propel can system).

any suggestion welcome, and....Thank you for your help,
