Not all correct..! Red was used for an EMERGENCY case only !
Red was later deleted from the U-boat arm, becaues it was too easy
spotted by enemy aircraft, when men were in the water.! And most
of the case the men were easy targets to shoot at by enemy aircraft
Black was the standard colour issued for all U-boat men until the
the end the of the war.!
