Hi Jerry,
don\'t you believe my answer in the Subcom Forum. Ok, I shall go on record here too. :-))
Typhone (-e, pl.) = Nebel (and/or) Signal Horn = engl.transl. = fog or signal horn.
Perhaps one of our other Germen Speaking friends here will certify my translation.
