Dear KIP,

This is what we... , my model maker is doing.;; he completed the amati 1:72 scale type VII B model and have another one to make the modifications to build it into a type VII C , a lot easier than a scatch one and the two uboats will be on the same scale.

It works out to just under a metre in length ,, big enough to put some detailing. The type VII B took about a year to build and the deck was a real problem. I deceided to bury the loop antena and the periscopes so it is, as it would be at Sea with weathered painting and some rust.. Turned out just great!
