Dear Rainer,

I'm pretty sure that these gadgets were not on Hardegens boot. The wave deflector on the foredeck was cancelled in the beginning of 1941 the wavedeflector on the port and starboardsides was discarded at the end of 1941. As you will know Paukenslag took place during january to may 1942. Pictures of U-123 taken during "Paukenslag" show either one of them. Thanks anyway for the advise
